Brie Rosga Transitions into Key Role as Club’s Director of Youth Development

Eagan, Minnesota --- Wave Soccer Club is excited to announce the evolution of its top-notch coaching staff. On the heels of a highly successful tryouts and the formation of 27 Competitive fall teams, 40 Competitive summer teams and 8 Wave Academy fall teams for the 2021-2022 season, Wave Soccer Club has hired Arent Hiltermann as its new Director of Coaching (DOC). Brie Rosga has transitioned into the critical role of Director of Youth Development, reinforcing the Club’s unwavering commitment to the development of all of its athletes at all levels.
Hiltermann assumes the position of Wave SC DOC with an extensive soccer resume. He played semi-pro soccer in the Netherlands, attended the University of Minnesota and has been coaching since he was 16 years old at clubs around the U.S. and internationally. Hiltermann was most recently the Director of Operations at MN Eclipse Soccer Club.
“I love coaching soccer and have a real passion for working with kids of all ages and levels of ability. I am honored to have been chosen for the DOC role at Wave SC and am looking forward to the opportunity to continue the club’s path of success,” stated Hiltermann.
With this change, Rosga has accepted a position with Wave Soccer Club as the Director of Youth Development.
“I truly value my experience as the DOC of Wave SC, but it was time for me to step back and resume my nursing career,” stated Rosga. “I am grateful to be able to continue in a leadership role for Wave Soccer Club as the Director of Youth Development. The role is a perfect fit for my skill set and I am excited to have the opportunity to continue developing our Wave SC youth.”
Wave Soccer Club president, Lori Wohletz, commented: “Brie has been instrumental in our Club’s success, charting a path forward with grit and determination. The Wave SC Board of Directors is grateful for Brie’s contributions to our Club and the entire soccer community over the past year. We are ecstatic to have Arent’s vision and Brie’s continued leadership as we look into the future.”
Arent and Brie have already been working together to kick off the Fall 2021 season and look forward to meeting the players and families on the fields!
